HEY THERE!

I'm a former business school professor and talent management leader turned media executive and professional coach. I make content on leadership, career development, and personal growth.

Andrea Duda, MA

“I would like to take this opportunity to enthusiastically endorse Karen Maccaro for her executive coaching. Working with Karen I have received honest input from her assessments and she has been able to identify some common themes in my feedback results, and is currently working with me on a personal leadership coaching development plan.  Her coaching was the start of my journey into a leadership position a year and half ago, and she continues to provide me the foundation for growth and success. I have come to regard Karen as a valued business advisor.”

GET TO KNOW ME

My Background

I might describe my career trajectory as a giant, exciting zig-zag. I left posts as a professor of management and an academic leader after earning a Ph.D. I wanted to practice what I taught so I went into talent management and development roles in biotech and healthcare tech companies. Then I became the Chief Content Officer of a media company looking to expand into education, then the CEO of Executive Education at Babson, the GM of Education at Morning Brew and now I am the Chief Operating Officer of CRE Daily, the founder of Chirp Learning, and a minority owner of an AI Training Co. In other words, I'm an intensely curious, motivated, and passionate person who loves to help individuals and organizations realize their potential!
